In the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance you will learn how to provide assessments and treatments requested by the allied health professional how to report back to them on the progress of a patient’s treatment program.
There are options to focus your training on areas including physiotherapy, podiatry, speech pathology, nutrition and dietetics, occupational therapy, and community rehabilitation to assist specific allied health professionals. Or you can keep your options open and complete the core Certificate IV course. Â Once qualified, you can complete further elective units to move into a different area if you wish.
You may be eligible for funding through Higher Level Skills. This qualification may be undertaken while employed through a traineeship though does not attract a subsidy for this mode of delivery.
