During the Certificate III in Community Pharmacy you will develop knowledge about a broad range of pharmacy products and health care support services so that you can provide assistance in a community pharmacy. There is an age requirement to complete this course – The Queensland Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996 stipulates that pharmacy assistant employees must be 16 years of age or more to be authorised to sell Pharmacy Only medicines.
You might be eligible for funding through the Certificate III Guarantee Program or complete this qualification as a traineeship with funding through the User Choice Program.
