The Certificate II in Health Support Services will give you a taste of what it might be like to work in the health industry. Elective streams you could choose from are client support, health administration, grounds maintenance, general maintenance, food services, laundry and cleaning.
In client support, some organisations might offer you employment as a cadet if you have completed a Certificate II qualification, depending on your capability and the units you have completed. Talk to employers in your local area to see what might be offered. If you would like to work in client support, most employers will require you to undergo a criminal history check and working with children screening.
