The Certificate II in Community Pharmacy will give you a foundation in health and customer service so that you will be able to work as part of the team in a community pharmacy. You would be working under the guidance of more senior and experienced pharmacy assistants as well as the supervising pharmacist.
There is an age requirement to complete this course. Due to laws regarding age restrictions for handling medications in Queensland you must be at least 16 years of age to handle schedule 2 and 3 medications.
You might be eligible for funding through the Certificate III Guarantee Program or complete this qualification as a traineeship with funding through the User Choice Program.
